Story Consultation and Editing

I love helping people find the best way to tell a story. I approach editing with an emphasis on clarity, preserving the writers’ voice and perspective, journalistic rigor, and creating a safe and positive working relationship. I specialize in telling true stories in sound, but I’ve also worked in print and film. Let’s talk about what you need.

I’ve edited for clients like Vice, CNN, Crooked Media, and more. Forever is a Long Time, an independent show I edited for my friend Ian Coss, landed on best of the year lists in Apple Podcasts, The New Yorker, and the New York Times. Podcast Development and Production

I’m a deeply experienced producer who has successfully developed, piloted, and launched shows for clients like TED, First Look Media, Al Jazeera, and CNN. My background is in journalism, and I work hard to bring both compelling storytelling journalistic rigor to my non-fiction projects. I consult on: show development, production and editorial planning, building narrative treatments, finding a sound for your show, and more.
